WELCOME TO LAKEWOOD
Rolling Hills, Canopied Streets
and Coveted Schools
The charming neighborhood of Lakewood is known for its great public and private schools, historical homes, community and parent involvement plus outstanding natural amenities including White Rock Lake and the Dallas Arboretum.
One of Dallas' oldest and eclectic neighborhoods, Lakewood was established in 1882, only a few decades after the city itself was founded. Originally, Lakewood was only a handful of streets, but through the years the Lakewood area has evolved to include areas that feed into Lakewood Elementary School.
The various neighborhoods throughout the Lakewood area are well established and consist entirely of well-kept single-family homes. Residents are committed to maintaining its distinctive neighborhood character. From the old-timers whose families have been in the area for several generations to the newcomers who move in on a regular basis, residents of Lakewood recognize each other with one important term - neighbors.
LAKEWOOD REAL ESTATE
ERIC'S OPINION ON LAKEWOOD
The Lakewood market is as hot as everything else in Dallas. 2.4 months of inventory (monthly avg. of available homes/monthly avg. sold homes) is incredibly low, which makes it a huge seller's market. Thankfully we're in the #1 brokerage in the neighborhood, so we often about homes before they hit MLS.
